Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy applies to the client information, download links, and setup documentation provided on v2raynew.com. It explains how information is handled when you visit this site. Data handling by client apps, subscription services, and download providers is separate and is not automatically covered by this policy just because you found them through this site.
1. Information We Collect
This site uses static pages and does not offer user registration, account sign-in, or email collection forms. You can read guides and view download links without providing your name, phone number, or subscription URL. We do not ask you to upload client configurations, connection logs, or node credentials, and pages do not read configuration files from your device.
When your browser requests pages, fonts, or download manifests, the infrastructure serving them receives the network information needed to fulfill those requests, including your IP address, request time, page path, response status, and browser request headers. These records may be used to investigate unusual requests, troubleshoot delivery issues, and maintain the service. They do not mean this site can see network activity inside your client app.
2. Analytics and How We Use Data
We use analytics to understand how people read pages and use download links. Depending on the setup, analytics may record page paths, referring pages, device and browser categories, visit times, and interactions such as selecting a download platform. This helps us identify documentation needs, improve navigation, and find page issues.
Analytics are used to understand content and interaction trends, not to build profiles of subscription content or proxy traffic. We do not include subscription URLs, account passwords, or configuration keys in analytics events. Do not add this information to query parameters in site URLs, as it could be included in request records.
The specific analytics fields and retention periods depend on the deployment configuration and operational needs; this policy does not promise a fixed period that has not been confirmed. Records should be used only as needed for analytics, troubleshooting, and security maintenance, with access restricted.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
This site does not use session cookies for account sign-in. Depending on the analytics configuration, it may use cookies or other browser identifiers to distinguish visits and avoid duplicate counts. The fact that the pages are static does not, by itself, mean that cookies are never used while you browse.
If page features or analytics scripts use local storage, the data stays in the current browser environment. This is not the same as reading other files on your device. Subscription links, node passwords, and full configuration contents should not be stored this way.
You can use your browser settings to view, clear, or restrict this site's cookies and site data. You can also disable scripts or use content-blocking settings. These restrictions may affect navigation, tabs, or analytics, but the page text should remain available as provided by the page.
4. Download Sources and Third-Party Processing
The download page links to installers for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG. File URLs are resolved through a same-origin download manifest; download requests may be handled by a redirect service or sent to an external file host specified in the manifest. The documentation pages themselves do not include installer packages.
Services receiving download requests may obtain your IP address, request headers, and file request records. Once you visit an external page or file URL, the relevant provider's data handling rules apply. The site domain remaining in your browser's address bar does not mean every part of the transfer is handled by the same organization.
After you install a client, subscription updates and connection activity depend on the client configuration, subscription provider, and related network services. These are separate from this site's web analytics, and this policy does not replace the privacy notices for client apps or subscription services.
5. Policy Updates and Questions
We may revise this policy when analytics settings, download processes, or applicable requirements change, and publish updates on this page. The month at the top of the page will be updated; material changes to data handling will be reflected in the relevant sections. Check this page on future visits for the current policy.
To manage browser data, start with your browser's site permissions and clear-data settings. For download, subscription import, or connection issues, see Troubleshooting and the Setup Guide. Before troubleshooting, remove subscription URLs, credentials, and personal information from logs. Do not add sensitive information to page links.
